A Phoenix symbolizes birth, death & rebirth as well as eternity, strength and renewal. Reborn from the ashes of the flames of death signifying a journey through fire or adversity. Each canvas in this series has gone through rebirth. Rescued from landfill and restored to a new vibrance.
Louise hopes to find a home for her works where they can be continued to be admired and appreciated rather then discarded and buried as junk. In a disposable world Louise is passionate about breathing a new life into perfectly good things through restoration with her use of colours and applications of past influences
